Livestock

Here at Fogline animals are an integral part of our system.  They help us manage our pests and weeds, they add fertility to our soil, and provide Robby with some excitement.  Here are some new spring arrivals!

    Hey Desiree-

We actually do two in-town drop offs, one in Pleasure Point and the other in Seabright. As far as the meat goes, we don’t have lamb this year but will be including chicken, pork and eggs for protein. They are included as they become available, but we will try to include at least one protein or value-added product each week. I hope this helps and let me know if you have anymore questions.

    Thanks for the inquiry,
    Johnny

Thank you for the lovely poultry today. Our students in our Cooking Poultry 101 class were thrilled!

Hi, I found your CSA via a web search. I live in Live Oak (which it sounds like you do home delivery to?). I have a question. I’m allergic to eggs. It sounds like you include eggs quite a bit in your weekly basket. Is it possible to request only certain types of “livestock” options?

      Hey Deb-
At this point we don’t have a system in place for customization of boxes but I think we’ll get there eventually. For this season we plan on giving eggs about once every three weeks, maybe more. I have been suggesting to people to share a basket with folks or look to trade with other CSA members for items that they like/don’t like. I hope this helps.
